MARY FOSTON-ENGLISH, LMFT, CEAP, CMPC

Mary Foston-English is a dedicated Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 25 years of clinical experience of psychotherapy with individuals, couples and families. Mary is skillfully trained in utilizing various techniques to meet an individual's needs. Common theories she utilizes include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Adlerian Therapy, and Systems Focused Therapies. Her particular areas of expertise include individuals impacted by anxiety, depression, substance use and addiction, PTSD and relationship challenges. 

 

Her work with athletes and performers is extensive and includes being a member of the USOPC Mental Health Registry, the NBA Players Association Mental Health Registry and the NFLPA Mental Health Registry.  In her position at Stanford University, in their Employee Assistance Program, Mary designed and facilitated several psycho-educational groups and workshops.

Mary also provides consultation to various organizations and teams to customize trainings, seminars, and workshops on various topics such as i DEIB (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Belonging) and JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, Inclusion), Time and Stress Management and the EMBRACE© Model of Conflict Management she developed.
